Your Questions, Answered

Recovery time depends on the type and severity of the injury, your overall fitness and how consistently you follow the rehabilitation program. Minor injuries may heal in a few weeks, while complex injuries like ACL tears may take 3–6 months. Your therapist will provide a personalized timeline after your initial assessment.

It depends on the nature of your injury. In some cases, modified activity or sport-specific training may be possible during recovery. Our physiotherapists will advise you on what activities are safe and when it is appropriate to gradually return to play.

The first step is to rest the injured area and apply ice to reduce swelling. Avoid putting weight or strain on it. Book an assessment with our physiotherapist as soon as possible so we can diagnose the injury accurately and begin an appropriate treatment plan without delay.

Yes, we conduct comprehensive return-to-sport assessments to evaluate your strength, agility, balance and sport-specific performance before clearing you for full activity. This ensures a safe transition back to your sport and significantly reduces the risk of re-injury.
